The English edition of my Korean book, 『라면 이야기』.

A bowl of ramyeon brings back a school gate in Seoul. Gimbap recalls outings with friends; a lunch box and kimchi stew bring me back to my mother’s kitchen. After moving to America in 1985, I found familiar tastes again in New York and New Jersey.
