When connected to PC USB port and draws power from that, able to maintain charge on my archos 70 while playing MP3 with screen off.

This works great on the Archos A70 Tablet. Now I'm able to at least trickle charge (based on USB power output) my tablet from any USB port.

Well i'm happy with this cable. I have 5 tablets and it worked with 2. Both my Archos 7 and my Archos 70 worked ok but slow.My Ipad knock of(via 8550 or Epad) did not work at all.My other 2 are Archos 5 tablets and wont take this type of plug. I put the brand names so any reader will know which one it works with ok. If you don't mind a very slow charge then.....pick it up.

This, combined with a 5V charger w/USB port (most of us have several lying around!), works perfectly as a second charger for my Archos 70. Using the USB charger that came with my T-mobile phone, I can charge the tablet from 15% up to 100% in under 3 hours. It also works well with other devices requiring 5V/500-1000mA w/3.5mm power plug.

Great replacement product. Works better and is made of higher quality materials than the one supplied by original mfg. of laptop cooling fan.
