It works. Nov 08, 2007
By Christopher E. Davis It does what it's supposed to. What more is there to say? Only real way it could get a bad review is if it didn't work. And how could something so simple be messed up?

Worked Perfectly - Highly Recommended! Jun 12, 2010

The StarTech "LP4 to 2 SATA Internal Power" cable provides two SATA power connectors from one standard PC power supply connector. I needed to install a second drive in my PC but was short on available power connections and this cable solved the problem. Both SATA power connectors are also long enough to reach anywhere in my midsized HP tower chassis.
Highly Recommended!

Exactly what I needed Nov 15, 2009

This does exactly what it says it will. I needed an additional power cord for a new hard drive I added to my despktop and I decided to use this to split one of them. I use this with my primary hard drive the boots and runs my computer. Have had zero issues since hooking this up. I have a 550 Watt powers upply with 3 internal hard drives and have seen no power issues by using this splitter. Wonder how many of these I could use?!

Yes. It will connect to your PSU. Nov 05, 2010
By Phil D Don't have enough SATA power connectors on your power supply? This adapter will give you two more. When installing, simply make sure that each pin is aligned and give it a firm push. There's really nothing to it. Good quality part.

Looks Fine BUT . . . Sep 02, 2011
By Mai Vyou The cable looks well constructed and attractive. However, I found the cable rather stiff and found it used wires made of Aluminium! The lower cost of Aluminium over Copper seems a poor bargain to me. (As new home owners several years ago found out when they began having problems with the Aluminium wiring used in their homes.) Seems connections to aluminium wires need much more care when making connections or problems will occur over time. Should problems arise in the future, my first check will be the integrity of these cables.
