This jacket is extremely comfortable, versatile and flattering. I'm very picky about outerwear and I should have gone to Columbia first!! A must buy.

I liked this jacket very much, but wanted to try it on before I ordered it on the web. So I went in to one of the stores to try it on and double check the size. It has a double zipper which is VERY difficult to get on and off, in addition to being hard to zip up, because it's constantly getting stuck on the zipper lining. I tried on several jackets in different colors and sizes and each one had this problem. Otherwise, it's a great jacket. Also, I liked the green/lime color, but I don't like the color of the lining that it comes with, which is a dark green, almost brown color. I wish they had chosen a different color for the lining.

Good Coat, could use bigger pockets Feb 06, 2009

I bought this for a ski trip. It is a good coat, very well constructed and kept me warm in the snow on the mountain. I could always use a little more pocket space when I ski, or maybe just a little bigger so I can fit a water bottle in there.

I received this jacket as a gift from my parents. I completely love it. I got the Intense Red color because red is my favorite color. I have issues in general with the fact that many outerwear companies don't tailor their coats to fit the curvy woman. This one doesn't have that problem. It is slightly fitted where it needs to be so I don't end up looking like a frumpy box. the little swirly design is a little iffy for me, but seems like it's not too trendy and should wear fine as time goes on.
I love this jacket because now I can stay warm AND waterproof without manually layering. And if the weather decides to warm up or clear up, I can use just one part of the jacket. It is warm, not bulky, attractive and made by trusted Columbia. I wore a plain rain jacket by them and it was fine, but it was the wrong size, therefore ill-fitting and didn't have the nice warm fleece zip-in layer.
All in all, I think this jacket will remain a favorite for years to come. Now, if only they got on board with classic cute jackets (peacoats, military style, etc.) that are both waterproof and warm...

I have owned the same Bugaboo jacket for 16 years. I am just now buying a new one. The current one is still in good shape and has been heavily used for skiing and winter sports as well as being washed at least once a year since purchase. I would highly recommend this jacket for everyone as is has been the best coat I have ever owned.
