I work in the telecom and need to console into several types of routers. I bought this cable as a back up cable. When it came time that I needed to use this cable, I found that it did not work. I had to race to a local radio shack and had to buy one that was four time as much. I guess that is what I get for attempting to save some money. By the time I was done, I spent twice as much as I would have if I just went to radio shack to begin with.
